“but I’m just thinking about the red dress”

January 16, 2011

I’ve had this dress laying around for a few months now. I absolutely love the fabric but the actual shape and size of the dress was unwearable. It had 3 horrible pleats on both sides of the front and all the way down the back as well. Unflattering! Well, today we chopped it up and began re-fashioning it into something adorably vintage with a modern twist.

It’s just pinned now, but we have high hopes of finishing it next Sunday. Thanks to Rebecca for all of her help ripping seams today!
